A Deputy Secretary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Joshua Kwame Fugah says embattled Evangelist Nana Agradaa and other religious scammers learnt their dubious ways from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).<\/span><\/p>\n He says the NPP in the 2016 election made phantom promises to the people of Ghana in a deliberate attempt to hoodwink them into voting for President Akufo-Addo.<\/span><\/p>\n Mr Fugah made these remarks in reference to the recent money doubling scam involving Nana Agradaa on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM on Monday, October 10, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Founder of Heaven Way Church in Accra, Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, has been in the news again for allegedly scamming her church members after she asked them to bring their money for her to double it for them.<\/span><\/p>\n This issue has become topical on Ghanaian mainstream and social media.<\/span><\/p>\n Reacting to the issue, Mr Fugah says the grand political scam perpetrated by the NPP on the Ghanaian people is what has given the religious leaders the impetus to also engage in the same.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cJulius, I am telling you, the one village one dam, the one million per constituency and other promises by this government was a scam, reason Agradaa and her likes are having a field\u2019s day<\/span><\/p>\n \u201c NPP can scam Ghanaians and operate freely, why can\u2019t the religious people do the same?\u201d he rhetorically asked.<\/span><\/p>\n He \u201cYou see, the religious scammers have learnt the system from the NPP, I am not surprised this is happening\u201d he said<\/span><\/p>\n He further says people are devising all manner of means to survive the hardship posed by the Akufo-Addo led government.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe system is now hard, people are struggling, the frustration is just too much under this government and everybody wants a way out legally or foul.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThis government has made this basaaaa like that, so everybody is suffering\u201d, he said.<\/span><\/p>\n Content created and supplied by: OEntertainment (via Opera \n , . , .
