The pride of the Northern Region Tung-Teiya Dahamani, known on stage as Teiya, was crowned queen of TV3 flagship programme \u2018Ghana\u2019s Most Beautiful (GMB)\u2019 on Sunday, October 9, 2022.<\/p>\n
Amassing over 342,810 votes, the highest votes since the inception of GMB, 2,230 votes from viewer\u2019s choice obviously deserves the win.<\/p>\n
In all, Teiya won the competition with 32.5%\u00a0as against Oti Region representative Aiko Adade, first runner-up with 24.152%.<\/p>\n
Grace Aseiduaa\u00a0Afanyi from the Central Region took the second runner-up position with 16.750% as compared to Eastern Region\u2019s finest Amoani, and Volta Region\u2019s Xornam with 16.482% and 10.118% respectively.<\/p>\n
Teiya took home GH\u00a210,000 cash and a car, one year\u2019s supply of GTP fabric, GH\u00a220,000 medical insurance and spa treatment, a new techno phone, all-expenses-paid international trip and hampers from sponsors.<\/p>\n
Aiko Adade received GH\u00a28,000 cash prize, six months\u2019 supply of GTP fabric, GH\u00a215,000 worth of medical insurance and spa treatment, all-expenses-paid trip and souvenirs from Airtel-Tigo.<\/p>\n
Asiedua also took home GH\u00a26,000 cash, three months\u2019 supply of GTP fabric, Airtel-Tigo data and hampers from sponsors.<\/p>\n
Eastern Region\u2019s Amoani won a GH\u00a25,000 cash prize, one month\u2019s supply of fabrics from GTP, and one month\u2019s supply of data on Airtel-Tigo mifi and hampers from sponsors.<\/p>\n
Xornam from the Volta Region took home GH\u00a23,000 cash prize and hampers from sponsors.<\/p>\n
Held at the National Theatre in Accra, the event saw musical performances from Stonebwoy, Kwabena Kwabena and DSL.<\/p>\n
GMB is a beauty pageant that educates\u00a0Ghanaians\u00a0and the global community about the various cultural values and heritage in the 16\u00a0regions of Ghana.<\/p>\n
It is organised by\u00a0TV3\u00a0and its media partners. The aim of the pageant programme is to promote development through culture and unity.<\/p>\n
