THP Ghana Limited, Ghana Limited, formerly The Honda Place has launched the new Honda HR-V at its showroom in Accra.<\/p>\n

According to its Country Director, Mahesh Mahatni, it will continue to invest in the country and become a household brand.<\/p>\n

Mahatni cited investments made in the company\u2019s human capital as one of the major reasons for its success in Ghana.<\/p>\n

According to him, though the company is relatively young as compared to other automobile companies in the country it continues to stand tall, attributing this success to the hard work of staff and the support of customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom time to time, we send staff overseas for training purposes. Another goal is to expand our operations in Ghana, to employ more Ghanaians to improve their livelihoods\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of our goals is to invest in our local staff\u2019s technical development through their education & technical training\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n

Manish Daryanani, Business Head for Sales & Marketing, mentioned in his speech that HR-V aims to be a lifestyle icon that is confident, visually pleasing and a pleasure to drive, bringing excitement and enriching daily lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe HR-V is larger than its predecessor and has longer wheelbase which combined with magic seats provide class leading space and utility for an adventurous weekend escape. This new model is primarily targeted towards Generation-C who are always connected, computerised, clicking and choose things with consideration while sharing their choice and experience with friends, family and peers. The New HR-V will empower users to explore a new self\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Japan\u2019s Ambassador to Ghana, Hisanobu Mochizuki, has commended Ghana for its efforts to boost industrialisation by establishing an automotive hub.<\/p>\n

According to him, the Japanese government is ever ready to support the country\u2019s industrialisation drive.<\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore, I would like to commend Ghana\u2018s efforts to establish itself as a regional automotive hub as part of its industrial transformative agenda.\u00a0 Taking this opportunity, I would like to renew our commitment to strongly support the initiative.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0He further noted that advancing the industrial sector of the country will not only boost the economy but develop the country\u2019s human capital as well.<\/p>\n

The spacious interior is characterised by an automatic climate control which enables the driver and passengers to change the A\/C temperature to adapt to the outside environment. A spacious cabin and cargo space, 8-inch Display Monitor and a 1.5 litres fuel efficient engine are some added features which makes the new Honda HR-V unique.<\/p>\n
