As part of it&#8217;s celebrations, today is the climax of its anniversary.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/90fa69bba4634fa1a63e0c6032a83e2f\"\/><\/p>\n<p>OKESS is the first secondary school in the Asante Region, having been established in 1937. The school was was named after the 14th King of Asante, Otumfuo Prempeh II whose maiden name is Osei Kyeretwie.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 1970, OKESS relocated from Dekyemso to its present Tafo site, through the efforts of the Asantehene and Tafohene.\u00a0In between 1970 and 2004 , the school operated two campuses viz Tafo and Dichemso.
