Credit: @flynimaboy \u2014 Twitter<\/p>\n<div id=\"article-text\">\n<p>Comedienne Jacinta Ocansey says he has given up on dating because men do not take her seriously.<\/p>\n<p>According to Jacinta, her profession \u2013 comedy \u2013 in a way deters men from developing a serious and intimate relationship with her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh, they won\u2019t take me seriously,\u201d Jacinta told <strong>Doreen<\/strong> <strong>Avio<\/strong> on Friday. \u201cI have given up. I am not doing relationships again,\u201d she said on <strong>Daybreak Hitz<\/strong> on <strong>Hitz FM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=314&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FHitz1039%2Fvideos%2F1048680575822083%2F&#038;show_text=false&#038;width=560&#038;t=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>She added that she tried to have serious relationships with some guys in the past, but she realized they were not willing to see her beyond her craft.<\/p>\n<p>This, according to the comedienne, is challenging because she is more than just what she does to put food on her table.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes you are like \u2018dead-serious,\u2019 but they [men] say \u2018I don\u2019t even know when to take you seriously.\u2019 Oga, what do you want me to do again? How again? I should wear a suit to show you that I am serious?\u201d she quizzed.<\/p>\n<p>However, Jacinta Ocansey made it clear that she is absolutely fine with being single, thus is not open to any overtures from any man because \u201cI don\u2019t want anyone to come and stress my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jacinta Asi Ocansey, affectionately called, \u201cQueen of Ghana Comedy,\u201d is outdooring her first stand-up comedy event dubbed <em>One Night Stand <\/em>on October 8 at the National Theatre in Accra.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/i-have-given-up-on-dating-guys-do-not-take-me-seriously-comedienne-jacinta\/\">Source<\/a> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jacinta Asi Ocansey.
