Others included Technical Director Bernard Lippert, Director of Coaching Education Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, Histerine De Reus \u2013 FIFA\/UEFA Coaching Instructor, and Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association Samuel Aboabire.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_1957-1024x624.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAbout a year ago, under the leadership of the President and the Technical Director, we were tasked to put together the framework of identifying the best of the best talents in the entire nation which is called the elite program,\u201d Director of the Talent Identification Program, Papa Nii Lartey, said at the launch.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_2147-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBased on our analysis, we realised that for us to cover the entire nation we would need to identify about 5,000 talents.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_2016-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe idea is that no talent will be left behind, so we want to be able to go into the rural areas, the villages, and where ever there is a talent in this country, we want to identify that talent for the Ghana Football Association.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_2016-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe want to start this project with a pilot program from the Greater Accra. And the pilot program is supposed to cover the entire Greater Accra Region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe goal is to identify 500 of the best talented juvenile players across the Region. I am not mistaken, Ghana is probably the first country in Africa to start such a program.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_2064-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBased upon the players that we select, we will break it into 20 Districts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project is for both girls and boys \u2013 we have 15 Zones for the boys and 5 Zones for the girls in the Greater Accra Region.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_1987-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_2167-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe have been able to assemble very competent coaches who have gone through a training program in scooting to select the players so that we can move the program forward,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_1968-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>This well-thought-out structure will be fully implemented across the various Districts and Regions in Ghana.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_1983-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_2157-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Scouts, Coaches, and Talent Developers would be deployed to work with the Regional Football Associations to hunt for young talented footballers who will form the base of the national youth teams.<\/p>\n<p>            <!--  [embed]https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=videoseries[\/embed]<!--\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>--><\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"0F211SClBq4\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"HIV\/AIDS Surge: Cases increase in Kwawu West Municipality due to social media - Director (5-10-22)\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0F211SClBq4?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GFA officials The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has launched the elite Talent Identification program in Accra.
