Credit: @kidimusic \u2014 Instagram<\/p>\n<div id=\"article-text\">\n<p>Singer KiDi says his 5-year-old son likes his \u2018dirty songs\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <strong>Andy Dosty<\/strong> on <strong>Daybreak Hitz<\/strong>, the reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year revealed that even though he tries to do clean music that can be consumed by people of all ages, his son happens to like his \u2018dirty songs\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>According to KiDi, he lets it pass because his son does not understand the lyrics of these songs.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p><div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"uPpEy9Gteog\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"My son loves my dirty songs \u2013 KiDi | Daybreak Hitz\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uPpEy9Gteog?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI have a job as a parent to navigate what he listens to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe likes them. I think he does not grasp what I am saying. His favorite song is the dirtiest song I have heard in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Odo<\/em> hitmaker admits that his son has to be checked, but also says that he is trying his best not to clip his wing as well as stop him from having fun.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis favorite song is Chris Brown\u2019s <em>Go Crazy<\/em>. Anytime he picks up the remote he wants to go to YouTube just to watch the video.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI sometimes feel some way, but I also don\u2019t want to clip his wings. At that age, I think he is enjoying himself,\u201d he said on <strong>Hitz FM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>KiDi also shared his challenge as a father, admitting it is difficult.<\/p>\n<p>He also stated that he is doing his best to learn how to take care of his son.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no rule book on how to do this, but sometimes you have to figure out how to do this day by day. He does not know what he is listening to.
