KiDi<\/strong><\/p>\n Musician\u00a0KiDi says he was embarrassed by his old tweets that resurfaced on social media last week.<\/p>\n In an interview on Hitz FM<\/em><\/strong> yesterday, he described the tweets as unfortunate.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u00a0felt very embarrassed and down. Sad. Defeated. There were a lot of happenings at that time. I had already been in a weird mental space. I didn\u2019t even have time to breathe and reset. Not only that, but I left my EP listening session. I broke down, and it was a lot for me. I felt embarrassed about all of it. I couldn\u2019t be there. We had finished listening to the songs, but I did a little and I had to leave,<\/em>\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Last week, the\u00a0\u2018Touch It\u2019 hitmaker apologised for the tweets, saying he couldn\u2019t even remember some of them.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t even remember tweeting some of those things. I\u00a0look at them like, \u2018I said this?\u2019 A lot of the values we believe strongly in them, we had to go through certain things. And we had to unlearn some things to relearn them. You had to learn a little human compassion.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe had to grow to get here, and that was a different era of social media. You could say anything, and it didn\u2019t matter at that time. There are a lot of things\u2026 I just wished the people will not define me by who I was then<\/em>,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n \u201cAt that era of social media, everyone was being silly\u2026 Like a new app called Twitter, just tweet your mind. I didn\u2019t tweet them to be offensive, and some of them are just banter that I regret tweeting,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u00a0would have wanted all of that attention to go to my \u20184Play\u2019 EP.
