Real Madrid and Osasuna fought to a dismal draw in a crucial LaLiga match on Sunday night at the Santiago Bernabeu. The effort put forth by Ancelloti’s men was below par, and the manager certainly won’t be happy with the result.<\/p>\n

Early on, Real Madrid controlled the ball and created some good scoring opportunities, putting themselves in a strong position to win.<\/p>\n

However, it took Real Madrid 42 minutes to break down Osasuna’s resolute defense. Vinicius Junior put the home team ahead with a spectacular goal from inside the penalty area.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid lost the lead they had held for the first five minutes of the second half. Kike made a fantastic attempt that resulted in a goal in the 50th minute.<\/p>\n

Karim Benzema had a penalty kick for Real Madrid and missed the goal. The Frenchman’s incredibly powerful but unartful hammering caused him to crash into the crossbar.<\/p>\n

Karim Benzema is famous for his “go for power” penalty kick strategy. On Sunday night, however, against Osasuna, nothing went right.<\/p>\n

It was clear that Vinicius Junior was one of the few players who was a little down about the game. Even before Benzema kicked the ball from the penalty spot, the Brazilian forward was seen raising his hands in celebration.<\/p>\n

Unbeknownst to him, Benzema betrayed Vinicius Junior’s trust. There is no doubt in my mind that Benzema would exercise greater caution in the future to prevent a repeat performance.<\/p>\n

FC Barcelona is now the LaLiga leader after Real Madrid failed to break the knot with Osasuna. This is a real missed opportunity for Karim Benzema to catch up with Barcelona talisman, Robert Lewandowski who is currently leading the Pichichi race.<\/p>\n

To be precise, the Laliga will be determined by El Classico because I clearly don’t think that FC Barcelona is going to leave the first place spot for Real Madrid again.<\/p>\n
