\nFormer Communications Minister Dr Omane Boamah has asked the Akufo-Addo led government not to take Ghanaians for granted and think that they are unaware of happenings in the country.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\nHe says the Ghanaian youth can feel the hardship in the country and do not need any politician to influence them before they register their disappointment in the government.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\nDr Boamah said this in reaction to attempts by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to accuse the opposition National Democratic Congress for instigating the booing of President Akufo-Addo at the Global Citizens Festival held in Accra.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\nThe president of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was heckled at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival stage at the Black Star Square in Accra last Saturday, September 24, 2022.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\nMembers of the NPP says some Intel available to the party indicate that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) instigated the booing incident that marred the Global Festival over the weekend.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\nBut Dr Boamah has asked them to credit the youth of Ghana with some respect as they are wide awake.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\n\u201cNPP mistakenly takes many for fools; but Ghanaians are wide awake! How could NPP claim NDC orchestrated President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo\u2019s \u201caway\u2026\u201d humiliation at the Independence Square?
