Ana de Armas has defended the nude scenes in \u201cBlonde\u201d.<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old actress flashes the flesh in her portrayal of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe in Andrew Dominik\u2019s film and suggested viewers will find it more uncomfortable than she did.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, De Armas said: \u201cIt\u2019s harder for people to watch (those scenes) than for me to make them, because I understood what I was doing and I felt very protected and safe.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t feel exploited because I was in control. I made that decision. I knew the movie I was doing. I trusted my director. I felt like I was in a safe environment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Everyone felt a deep respect for the movie we were making. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd in that sense, I had no fear. I didn\u2019t feel uncomfortable at all, even though they were really hard scenes.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cNo Time To Die\u201d actress was full of praise for the intimacy co-ordinators on set and claimed that shooting sexual scenes felt no different from the rest of the movie.<\/p>\n De Armas explained: \u201cWe had an intimacy co-ordinator with us all the time, and she was very helpful.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I wouldn\u2019t even say these scenes were more difficult than any other scene. It was just a part of a whole story. I knew exactly what the shot was going to be. <\/p>\n \u201cI knew exactly what was going to be seen, what was not going to be seen, and it felt like it was the right thing to do.\u201d<\/p>\n De Armas had recently expressed disappointment that intimate scenes from the movie are likely to be posted online and be taken out of context.<\/p>\n She said: \u201cI know what\u2019s going to go viral, and it\u2019s disgusting. It\u2019s upsetting just to think about it. I can\u2019t control it; you can\u2019t really control what they do and how they take things out of context.\u201d<\/p>\n
