INSET: Aggreh with officials Kwame Baah Nuako (L) Brooby (R), displaying his trophy on the podium<\/strong><\/p>\n This year\u2019s Ghana Fastest Human final saw all top three men\u2019s 100m finalists clocking lifetime best times at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n UDS\u2019 Barnabas Aggreh finished the season with a 10.23 Personal Best (PB).<\/p>\n He emerged the overall best after clocking 10.23, while Solomon Hammond, Accra, finished second with 10.23. It was Edwin Gadayi (Pablo Foundation), Ashanti Region that placed third with 10.24.<\/p>\n Janet Mensah shrugged off stiff competition from pre event favourite, Grace Obuor of the University of Ghana in the female 100 metres to become the new sprint queen.<\/p>\n Athletes also battled for honours in the U-18 and U-15 Boys and Girls categories.<\/p>\n The winners were awarded prizes; medals, certificates and products of sponsors.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The project founder, Reks Brooby, expressed gross satisfaction about the level of competition and commended the athletes and sponsors for making the event epochal.<\/p>\n \u201cI must commend all particularly GNPC, Adidas, our latest sponsor, GOIL, and of course the athletes and officials for making the final a huge success.<\/p>\n \u201cWith this level of performance, I can confidently say we are ready for the 2023 African Games,\u201d Brooby said.<\/p>\n The event was sponsored by GNPC, Adidas, GOIL, Wrenco, Moringa King, Pippas Gym, Kriate Lync, Indomie and Global Media Alliance.<\/p>\n Ghana\u2019s Fastest Human race, a project to revive athletics in schools, is also sanctioned by the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) and supported by the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Below are the full results captured by the electronic timer:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n U-15 Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n Wisdom Nyandi Mensah (1st)<\/p>\n Felix Anorigiya (2nd)<\/p>\n Albert Yeboah (3rd)<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n U-15 Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n Mabel Aidoo (1st)<\/p>\n Sarah Nkansah (2nd)<\/p>\n Amanda Kumanya (3rd)<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n U-18 Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n Joe Andoh (1st)<\/p>\n Sherif Abdul Rashid (2nd)<\/p>\n Abdul Rauf Abubakari (3rd)<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n U-18 Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n Naseera Quansah (1st)<\/p>\n Diamond Kusime (2nd)<\/p>\n Florence Agyemang (3rd)<\/p>\n \n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" \u00a0 Sprint queen, Janet with her trophy aloft.
