Prez Nana Addo “Booed” Off Stage During Speech Delivery At The 2022 Global Citizen Festival<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

The president of Ghana,\u00a0His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was heckled at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival stage\u00a0at the Black Star Square in Accra.<\/strong><\/p>\n

H.E. Nana Addo finished his keynote address amidst jeering from the crowd. He spoke about the government of Ghana\u2019s involvement in eradicating poverty and upholding national unity.<\/p>\n

Started off his speech with, \u201cLadies and gentlemen, I extend a hearty Akwaaba, our word of welcome, from a very hospitable people. To all of you, who have come from afar and wide, to our vibrant city of Accra, Ghana\u2019s capital, to join us on this great occasion.\u201d His Excellency addressed the impact of climate change and the Russian-Ukraine war on the economy of Ghana and the world.<\/p>\n

President Nana Addo challenged the youth to be creative and fearless in finding solutions to world problems.<\/p>\n
