Khloe Kardashian begged TV producers to keep her baby news secret for the sake of her \u201cmental health\u201d.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Keeping Up With The Kardashians\u2019 star welcomed her second child with ex Tristan Thompson via surrogate earlier this year, and she was filmed sharing the news with her sister Kim as well as the producers of the family\u2019s latest TV show \u2018The Kardashians\u2019, after it was revealed that Thompson was also having a baby with another woman.<\/p>\n
In an emotional scene, Kardashian was seen welling up with tears as she explained her dilemma to producers, saying: \u201cWhen you guys learned that Tristan was having a baby with somebody else\u2026 there was just something that I wasn\u2019t ready to talk about.<\/p>\n
\u201cTristan and I are \u2013 I don\u2019t even know if I want to say \u2018Tristan and I. I am having another baby and obviously it\u2019s just really private and I don\u2019t want it to get out right now because I want to protect my mental well-being and the surrogate\u2019s, as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut, um, yeah, it\u2019s just been a lot to go through all at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kardashian added that having another baby is supposed to be an \u201camazing\u201d time of her life but she\u2019s had a \u201cdifferent experience\u201d this time and accepted that the \u201cclock\u2019s ticking\u201d, and she would have to reveal all eventually.<\/p>\n
Kardashian was also seen breaking the news to her sister Kim over the phone, starting off by saying: \u201cI have a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n
She goes on to explain that a \u201ccouple days ago\u201d they had undergone an \u201cembryo transfer\u201d.<\/p>\n
Kim looks shocked and clamps her hand over her mouth as she digests the huge news.<\/p>\n
The episode also focuses on the baby\u2019s birth in August, revealing the little boy arrived via surrogate on July 28 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and shows Kardashian holding her son for the first time.<\/p>\n
Kardashian and Thompson\u2019s on\/off relationship crumbled once again last year after it was revealed he had been unfaithful and she decided she wanted Kim in the delivery room for the baby\u2019s birth instead of him \u2013 while Thompson was later allowed in to meet the newborn.<\/p>\n
Kardashian went on to add she hoped the birth would \u201cclose that chapter and be done with this trauma\u201d.<\/p>\n
She added: \u201d I am so grateful. It\u2019s such a beautiful gift that we\u2019re able to have. Ever since December [when Tristan\u2019s cheating scandal was revealed] there\u2019s been this dark cloud looming over me. Every single day, I\u2019ve been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kardashian and Thompson are also parents to a daughter, True, who was born in 2018.<\/p>\n
