Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kyerematen assured that the government will create the enabling environment to make the implementation of the AfCFTA a success.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the vision of government is to transform Ghana into a modern industrialized country, a vision he said would be successful with the effective implementation of the AfCFTA.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the launch of the National AfCFTA Policy Framework and Action Plan for Boosting Ghana\u2019s Trade with Africa in Accra on Tuesday August 2, Kyerematen said: \u201cOur vision is to transform Ghana into a modern, industrialised country which will become the new manufacturing hub of the continent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe effective implementation of the AfCFTA in Ghana, would no doubt make a significant contribution in realising this vision,\u201d Kyerematen said.<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cThe government on its part, will provide the needed political impetus and create the enabling environment to ensure the successful implementation of AfCFTA in Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe AfCFTA Agreement provides immense opportunities for industrialisation and the development of regional value chains
