– –<\/span> During an interview on Accra FM, the Ghanaian comic said he is one of the voters that voted for Nana Addo to be president, but he is now regretting his decision.<\/p>\n DKB was talking to Nana Romeo about politics and economics on his program \u201cAyekoo Ayekoo\u201d on Accra 100.5 FM today, Thursday, September 22, 2022.<\/p>\n He said confidently, \u201cI voted for Nana [Akufo-Addo],\u201d when asked who he voted for in the most recent general elections. I have always voted for a winning president,\u201d DKB said.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> READ ALSO:\u00a0Ghana is not the only country experiencing the highest inflation \u2014 Akufo Addo<\/p>\n When asked about Nana Addo\u2019s performance as president during the last six years, he said, \u201cI am really dissatisfied.\u201d That things weren\u2019t better is his opinion.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> \u201cThere are problems, but I believe that government gasoline subsidies would have helped since we are doing our bit. He went on to say that the people of Ghana \u201care paying the proper taxes,\u201d therefore he had hoped that the government \u201cwould shock-absorb us a little.\u201d<\/p>\n After arguing that \u201cUncle Jerry [John Rawlings] received gasoline subsidies for so long,\u201d in support of government-mandated price reductions, he said, \u201cOur leaders say it\u2019s going to be a load on the government but it is a vital responsibility.\u201d \u201c.<\/p>\n DKD has joined the ranks of other Ghanaian celebrities\u2014including Yvonne Nelson, Berla Mundi, Mzvee, and King Promise\u2014who have spoken out against the country\u2019s debilitating economic crisis.<\/p>\n King Promise recently said in an interview that it is an undeniable reality that Ghana has grown too costly. Okay FM in Accra broadcast a live interview with King Promise.<\/p>\n \u201cGhana is expensive, no one can lie,\u201d he said. Adding his experience, the \u2018Ginger\u2019 singer said \u201clike things I use to pay for like maybe 12, 000, 13, 000 and 14,000 now is like 24,000. It doesn\u2019t make any sense in less than six months\u201d.<\/p>\n – –<\/span>
\n<\/p>\nDKB has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with Ghana\u2019s current president, H.E. Nana Addo, and he isn\u2019t kidding.<\/strong><\/h2>\n
