His excitement was abruptly diffused by his father, who said: \u201cMy son, I know this is what you want \u2013 to further your education at UCC, but you have siblings. Credit: @patorankingfire \u2014 Instagram<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Through determination and faith, he decided that he would use music to change the fortunes of his family.<\/p>\n<p>In his quest to pursue music full-time, the <em>Happy Day<\/em> singer moved from Cape Coast to Accra, Osu \u2013 a town that accommodated a lot of Nigerian immigrants at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Before he became the superstar he is today, the <em>Celebrate<\/em> <em>Me <\/em>hitmaker recorded 120 collaborations as an underground artist.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, <em>Patoranking<\/em> got an invite by DefJam Africa artist, <em>Stonebwoy<\/em>, to lay a verse on the remixed version of <em>Pull Up<\/em> \u2013 a track that helped the Nigerian singer to find his feet properly in the Ghanaian music scene.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p><div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"rgIiS97Hrs4\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"STONEBWOY - Pull Up (Remix) ft.
