(Photo by Dia Dipasupil\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The model and television personality delved into this delicate topic two years after telling the public that she and husband John Legend lost a baby named Jack.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt became very clear around halfway through that he would not survive, and that I wouldn\u2019t either without any medical intervention,\u201d Teigen said on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after this tragedy took place, Teigen shared a heart-shattering essay about her late baby, along with photos of her and Legend cradling his body.<\/p>\n<p>She wrote back then that the child will \u201calways be loved.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"634\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/rs_634x1024-220804094409-634-chrissy-teigen2-mv-8422.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-458318\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"634\" height=\"1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-458318 lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/rs_634x1024-220804094409-634-chrissy-teigen2-mv-8422.jpg\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>During her recent speech, meanwhile, Teigen opened up about the realization she only just arrived at.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s just call it what it was: It was an abortion,\u201d the star went on at the aforementioned event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. Seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hmmm\u2026 we don\u2019t know. Maybe because other women who have gone through a similar trauma can now take comfort in knowing they aren\u2019t alone?<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"845\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/chrissy-teigen-and-john-legend-1024x845.jpg\" alt=\"Chrissy Teigen and John Legend\" class=\"wp-image-350986\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"845\" alt=\"Chrissy Teigen and John Legend\" class=\"wp-image-350986 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/chrissy-teigen-and-john-legend.jpg\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Teigen, it should be mentioned, is currently pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>On September 15, she wished Legend a happy anniversary, calling her husband her \u201cabsolute best friend and lover and partner in life\u201d and hinting that she doesn\u2019t want their baby on the way to be their final child.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for being with me through all my mistakes, my ups and downs, my heartaches, for growing with me, for raising babies with me who are my proudest gifts,\u201d Teigen wrote on Instagram. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have created the most wonderful life together and all I want to do for the rest of my life is watch you make the world better, feed people, bring people joy, make more babies and kiss on your old and gray face one day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, who could not love these two?!?<\/p>\n<p>h<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is, once again, official: The Internet can be an awful place.
