Julia Fox is \u201cproud\u201d that she left her relationship with Kanye West.<\/p>\n
The \u201cUncut Gems\u201d star \u201ctapped out\u201d of her fling with the 45-year-old rapper when she saw the \u201cunresolved issues\u201d he was having during his split from his wife Kim Kardashian, the mother of his four children; North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four and Psalm, three.<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old actress told the Evening Standard magazine: \u201cIt was just like, he still wants to hang out with me today, let\u2019s do it. And then real life set in and the lifestyle wasn\u2019t sustainable. <\/p>\n
\u201cI couldn\u2019t fly away once a week. And I tapped out at the first sign of a red flag.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fox reflected that if she was not a mother to her 20-month old son Valentino \u2013 who she had with her ex Peter Artemiev \u2013 she might have stayed \u201clonger\u201d with Kanye, which according to speculation began around New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cThe unresolved issues that he was dealing with. It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don\u2019t have time for it, or energy. I don\u2019t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m proud of myself for that. Pre-Valentino Julia would have definitely stuck it out and been there for longer.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fox called claims she dated the \u201cStronger\u201d hitmaker \u2013 who legally changed his name to Ye late last year \u2013 as a publicity drive \u201csuch bull****.\u201d<\/p>\n She said: \u201cHe got my number through a mutual friend, period.\u201d<\/p>\n Fox added there was \u201ca good amount\u201d of chemistry between her and the \u201cJesus Walks\u201d hitmaker.<\/p>\n The catwalk star cooed about her \u201cinstant connection\u201d with Kanye in the press.<\/p>\n Fox wrote in Interview magazine: \u201cIt was an instant connection. His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite dating Fox, Kanye was making public declarations of love to his \u201cThe Kardashians\u201d star ex on social media despite her moving on with former \u201cSNL\u201d star Pete Davidson, who she has since split with.<\/p>\n In February, he wrote on Instagram: \u201cI DON\u2019T HAVE BEEF WITH KIM I LOVE MY FAMILY SO STOP THAT NARRATIVE IM NOT GIVING UP ON MY FAMILY. I BOUGHT THIS COAT FOR KIM BEFORE SNL I THOUGHT IT WAS PARTICULARLY SPECIAL I HAVE FAITH THAT WE\u2018LL BE BACK TOGETHER.\u201d<\/p>\n In a statement, an insider confirmed that Fox and Ye were over but planned to \u201cremain good friends and collaborators\u201d.<\/p>\n
