Youtuber, Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, popularly known as Wode Maya has announced his marriage to his Kenyan girlfriend, Trudy, in a simple wedding.<\/p>\n

The union took place in Kenya on September 10, 2022, with the attendance of only close relatives, the couple said.<\/p>\n

In Maya\u2019s 1000th video on Youtube, which features his marriage, the Youtuber said he intentionally didn\u2019t post anything for his followers for a week because he wanted the video on his marriage to be \u201cmemorable\u201d.<\/p>\n

He noted that he decided to \u201csell his freedom\u201d after he encountered a challenge from one of his followers who asked a question about the idea of settling down with Trudy.<\/p>\n

He believes the \u201cunion will unite the whole continent\u201d.<\/p>\n

The couple claims they spent $1000 on the whole wedding ceremony.<\/p>\n

They disclosed that Trudy\u2019s \u201cexpensive wedding ring\u201d as well as other expenses were covered by Kenyan friends of Maya willingly.<\/p>\n

Maya says received a two-bedroom apartment while Trudy got a one-bedroom apartment as wedding gifts.<\/p>\n

The couple first met in Ethiopia three years ago while working on a video.<\/p>\n
