{"id":1203877,"date":"2022-09-14T03:24:47","date_gmt":"2022-09-14T03:24:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/09\/14\/ashanti-regional-ex-dep-audit-service-dir-burnt-to-death\/"},"modified":"2022-09-14T03:24:47","modified_gmt":"2022-09-14T03:24:47","slug":"ashanti-regional-ex-dep-audit-service-dir-burnt-to-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/09\/14\/ashanti-regional-ex-dep-audit-service-dir-burnt-to-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Ashanti regional Ex Dep Audit Service Dir burnt to death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A former Ashanti regional Deputy Audit Service Director, Mr. Stephen Dapaah has been burnt to death in a fire that gutted his house at Aburaso in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti region.<\/p>\n<p>The 74-year-old deceased\u2019s son, grandson, and granddaughter who had visited him from the United Kingdom two weeks ago were also injured in the inferno.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred today, Saturday, September 10, 2022, when the visitors were preparing to leave for abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The Assembly Member for the area, Mr. Emmanuel Nyanteng who spoke to Class News\u2019 Elisha Adarkwah said the five-bedroom house and several other properties were also lost to the blaze.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the fire is not yet known but the personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service who were called to the scene have commenced investigations to ascertain it.<\/p>\n<p>The injured as well as two others \u2013 the deceased\u2019s wife and his son\u2019s wife who were traumatized have been admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The charred body of the deceased has been deposited at the same hospital morgue for preservation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A former Ashanti regional Deputy Audit Service Director, Mr. Stephen Dapaah has been burnt to death in a fire that gutted his house at Aburaso in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti region.
