He emphatically indicated that he doesn&#8217;t receive any financial assistance from the state apart from what is due him while he was in office.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/e25391ff425a4b25bf66e1dee5fd2011\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Media general journalist Alfred Ocansey in an interview, the former President labeled those rumors as a lie and responded accordingly to these assertions. The program dubbed &#8220;GHANA TONIGHT,&#8221; was aired late in the night and the honorable politician touched on a couple of issues.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/e49fdc3959f74cbe80157c787b622797\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He finally had the opportunity to answer questions posed by the journalist about his retirement package and he revealed that he hasn&#8217;t been paid any ex-gratia of 14 million and the only payment he received from CAGD was 230,000 cedis as his salary arrears in 2013.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/res.6chcdn.feednews.com\/assets\/v2\/16630b8c6c034784813e120e0db1ad67?quality=uhq&#038;resize=720\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I haven&#8217;t been paid any wholesale ex-gratia, am paid my monthly salary as President Kufuor and Rawlings, but I pay my utility bills, rented my own office at East cantonments, and pay my staffs and expenses at home and office. What was approved to be paid to my office is not been paid.
