Record Ghana champions Asante Kotoko arrived safely back in the country on Tuesday evening after winning their African Champions League game a day earlier in Benin.<\/p>\n

The Porcupines, defeated the champions of Burkina Faso Rail Club de Kadiogo 1-0 in a preliminary round first leg encounter played at the General Mathieu Kerekou Stadium in Benin.<\/p>\n

And, the Ghana champions arrived safely in the capital on Tuesday evening after their win and, they will now prepare for the return leg fixture in Kumasi on Sunday.<\/p>\n

“Our Warriors have arrived safely in the capital and will proceed to Kumasi on wednesday morning,” Asante Kotoko posted on their media channels upon their arrival.<\/p>\n

The return fixture will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Garden City with the game set to kick-off at 3:00pm local time.<\/p>\n

Coach Seydou Zerbo and his charges will look to advance to the next stage of the competition as they chase a place in the group phase of the competition at least.<\/p>\n

The team will continue with their preparations from Wednesday when they arrive in Kumasi ahead of the big clash on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
