Talented Ghanaian afrobeat singer and songwriter Kelvyn Boy known in private life as Kelvyn Brown has said that his smash hit single \u201cDown Flat\u201d has changed his life both financial wise and music wise.<\/strong><\/p>\n In an interview with ace media personality Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz Fm\u2019s DayBreak Hitz Show on Monday, September 12, 2022, the singer mentioned that he has been able to buy a new whip (car) and acquire plots of land from the proceeds he has cashed out from the song.<\/p>\n \u201cDownflat changed my life. I am cashing in and out\u2026I feel like it has moved me, it changed my life,<\/em>\u201d he started<\/p>\n Speaking about the music wise impact of \u201cDown Flat\u201d, he said it has transcended him beyond the boundaries of Ghana. He has been able to play shows in foreign countries and also had the privilege to be interviewed by high profile International media persons on popular media houses.<\/p>\n \u201cI was at the offices of Trace and I also went to the BBC. It wasn\u2019t part of the plan because I went for a tour, and didn\u2019t go for promotion but it\u2019s the song. They know about the song and they want to see the person (behind it),\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n Both the audio and video of\u00a0 \u201d Down Flat\u201d were released on 28th January, 2022 and both have since recorded impressive strides on the various digital platforms.
