Mr. Kwabena Osei Bonsu, nicknamed OB, a social commentator, has scolded the leaders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n

According to him, the region’s NPP officials are more concerned with following the party than in pushing for development projects.<\/p>\n

OB stated strongly on Oyerepa Breakfast Time that the Ashanti NPP leadership loves the party more than the region that brings them votes.<\/p>\n

“The NPP leadership in Ashanti is more concerned with the party than with the area. They prefer the party to the region.” He spoke clearly.<\/p>\n

The Ashanti Region has 42 Members of Parliament (MPs), many of whom occupy ministerial posts under President Akufo-Addo, but OB believes they are not doing enough to help the region flourish. Anyway, “They will come after you if you talk about NPP.”<\/p>\n

He stated that the Ashanti NPP leadership should recognize that they have the authority to propose huge development projects because the region attracts a large number of votes for the party.<\/p>\n
