{"id":1201074,"date":"2022-09-09T06:49:22","date_gmt":"2022-09-09T06:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/09\/09\/ice-prince-remains-in-prison\/"},"modified":"2022-09-09T06:49:22","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T06:49:22","slug":"ice-prince-remains-in-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/09\/09\/ice-prince-remains-in-prison\/","title":{"rendered":"Ice Prince Remains In Prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Nigerian musician, Ice Prince Zamani has been remanded in prison custody following the absence of the witness in his case.<\/p>\n<p>During the trial on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, the prosecution\u2019s lawyer asked the court to adjourn the case, citing the absence of his two witnesses, Pulse Nigeria reported.<\/p>\n<p>However, the rapper\u2019s lawyer Folarin Dalmenida presented the two sureties to the court.<\/p>\n<p>The court had earlier granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 and asked him to provide \u201ctwo responsible sureties\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Ice Prince was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, the music star abducted and threatened to throw an officer into the river after he was stopped for driving without a license.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river.
