Musicians Burna Boy <\/em>and Stonebwoy <\/em>have been announced as headliners for the 2022 Afrochella festival.<\/p>\n

The two artistes will be expected to lead performances at the two-day event which would take place at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra on December 28 and 29.<\/p>\n

Joining Burna Boy<\/em> and Stonebwoy<\/em> on the lineup are some Afrobeat stars including; Fireboy<\/em>, Kidi<\/em>, Ayra Starr, Medikal, DJ Juls, and DJ Loft.<\/em><\/p>\n

Afrochella 2022 will also highlight some vendors including 15\u00a0fashion, beauty and arts merchants, food vendors with cuisines from across the continent.<\/p>\n

CEO & Co-Founder of Afrochella, Abdul Karim Abdullah, has revealed that the 2022 edition of the event is themed \u2018AfroFuturism\u2019 aimed at celebrating the African diaspora.<\/p>\n

\"Burna<\/figure>\n

\u201cAs we embark on another year of celebrating African culture, Afrochella will bring \u201cAfrofuturism\u201d to life through our core elements of music, art, fashion and food. We will explore the endless possibilities of what \u201cAfrofuturism\u201d could look like in 2022 and beyond,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Afrochella Expo will begin on December 18th and run through December 31st. This fully immersive experience will include\u00a0wellness\u00a0sessions, screenings and panel discussions in the world of culture, technology, health, sustainability, music and art.<\/p>\n

Events that creatives can participate in at the Expo include; the Rising Star Challenge, Fashion Night Out, and The New Year\u2019s Celebration x PVO.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
