Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale<\/em> has said that he wants to cultivate a healthy relationship with the mother of his son and ex-wife, Michy.<\/p>\n

Addressing his \u2018baby mama\u2019 on Facebook live, Shatta Wale<\/em> <\/strong>noted that it is important they, at least, stay as friends for the benefit of their son, Majesty.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Melissa\u2019 hitmaker said because of their strained relationship, people assume he has shirked his duties as a dad \u201cbut I have been doing what a responsible father does.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShatta Michy, this is what I want you to be doing every time. We can\u2019t be together, yes, but we can be good friends. We can be doing sh** together for Majesty,\u201d Shatta Wale<\/em> stated.<\/p>\n

\n

Shatta Wale<\/em> and Michy broke up in January 2019. Incidentally, the break-up happened after the former had proposed to her during his Reign Concert in December 2018.<\/p>\n

The couple shares a son named Majesty.<\/p>\n

The actress and social media personality levelled some allegations against Shatta Wale,<\/em> including abuse but he denied it vehemently.<\/p>\n

The two have seemingly not been on good terms ever since.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the year on Hitz FM<\/strong>, when asked about the relationship between Shatta Wale <\/em>and his son, Michy did not divulge details; however, she noted that some people cannot be forced to do anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cResponsibilities like taking care of children is not something anybody should draw your attention to. I am dying if I can\u2019t see my son smile; it\u2019s a feeling that should be there. If it\u2019s not there, it shouldn\u2019t be forced,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in July, Shatta Wale<\/em> claimed that Michy does not give him the chance to see or spend quality time with their child.<\/p>\n

He said after their break up, he has apologised on several occasions but Michy has refused to bury the past to enable them to continue their love life.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just that we can\u2019t be together anymore. We have a son, but coming back? We cannot come back, but as parents, we can take care of our son.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shatta Wale <\/em>said he will only opt for co-parenting and joint custody of Majesty.<\/p>\n

\n

On Monday, September 5, Shatta Wale<\/em> noted that he is ready to set aside his differences and work again with his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son.<\/p>\n

The \u2018My Level\u2019 hitmaker was impressed after Michy was captured demonstrating the Shatta Movement (SM) sign at the 2022 Ashaiman to the World concert <\/em>held on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Shatta Wale<\/em> shared the picture to his Instagram page, noting that he was happy to see Michy represent the Movement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is how it should be done\u2026We built this \u201cSymbol of hope\u201d. Thank you. Now I can sleep. In fact, let\u2019s do another song. This time I won\u2019t pay you in kind but cash. Kudos to BHIM nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Michy is seemingly hesitant to accept the offer.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou won\u2019t pay me in kind but in cash, but if I collect you right now, you go come dey radio early morning dey cry (sic),\u201d she wrote on Snapchat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
