But no Charlie meant no violence, at least.<\/p>\n<p>Even so, things are still in an awkward place when it comes to their marriage and her extended family.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview, the <em>90 Day Fiance<\/em> star and her husband tease just how bad things will get with her family this season.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript\/><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456679 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_elizabethpotthast_06.png\" loading=\"lazy\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Ahead of the season\u2019s second episode, Elizabeth Potthast spoke to <em>Us Weekly<\/em> alongside her husband, Andrei Castravet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt seems like \u2026 the more successful you become,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n<p>Libby observed that \u201cyou really see people\u2019s true colors that are surrounding you.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_01-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457191\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457191 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_01.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201c[My family and I] kind of go back and forth honestly,\u201d Elizabeth characterized.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut,\u201d she admitted, \u201cit\u2019s been not so great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This, she suggests, may be the result of her own personal growth as a person.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_02-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457192\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457192 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_02.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s just say I\u2019m getting older,\u201d Libby explained.<\/p>\n<p>She added that \u201cI\u2019m more mature\u201d now than she was during earlier seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Marrying Andrei and having little Ellie has been an eye-opening experience in many ways.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_03-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457193\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457193 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_03.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI have my own family,\u201d Libby reasoned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd,\u201d she pointed out, \u201cI see things through a different lens now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, she perceives the world differently now \u201cthan I used to when I was younger.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_04-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457194\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457194 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_04.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAnd so I\u2019m learning more about my family,\u201d Elizabeth noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd,\u201d she added, \u201cwho\u2019s around me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Libby then continued: \u201cAnd I just see it differently.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0904_elizabethpotthast_05-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457195\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Elizabeth\u2019s husband also took part in the interview.<\/p>\n<p>Andrei announced that, in his estimation, he can \u201ctake credit\u201d for Libby\u2019s new perspective on things.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI opened her eyes more,\u201d he described.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" acknowledged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut,\u201d he added, \u201cI did more for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andrei asserted that this was \u201cso you can understand [where] the negative comes from.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"634\" height=\"1024\" this season has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>They teased that viewers will bear witness to \u201ca lot of reveals concerning family members\u201d during Season 7.<\/p>\n<p>This could mean Charlie getting help. It could be about Libby\u2019s sisters. About Chuck. Or about Libby\u2019s homophobic mom, Pamela.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_elizabethpotthast_05-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456678\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456678 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_elizabethpotthast_05.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt took some time to realize what kind of people we were dealing with,\u201d Andrei said vaguely.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s gonna be intense once again,\u201d he teased.<\/p>\n<p>Andrei then described: \u201cIt\u2019s very hard for me because I see her \u2026 it hurts her.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_elizabethpotthast_04-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456677\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456677 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_elizabethpotthast_04.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>In Libby\u2019s estimation, cultural differences are in play in terms of how she and Andrei react to toxic relatives.<\/p>\n<p>She believes that Americans are \u201cvery forgiving\u201d while Andrei\u2019s Moldovan relatives are more \u201ccutthroat\u201d over conflict.<\/p>\n<p>That is interesting, since many non-Americans would say that Americans are <em>more <\/em>likely to cut off troublemakers. It\u2019s all on a spectrum, we suppose.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_elizabethpotthast_03-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456675\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456675 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_elizabethpotthast_03.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYeah, but that means you don\u2019t have to deal with constant problems, constant friction if it\u2019s not needed,\u201d Andrei reminded his wife.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, it\u2019s hard when it\u2019s family \u2026 but yes,\u201d Elizabeth admitted.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/0714_elizabethpotthast_andreicastravet_01-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-452691\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-452691 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0714_elizabethpotthast_andreicastravet_01.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Their vague references to some sort of shocking wrongdoing by a family member \u2026 might not be so mysterious.<\/p>\n<p>See, we know from the trailer that (apparently) someone has been trying to sabotage Andrei\u2019s chances at citizenship. Possibly, to even get him deported.<\/p>\n<p>If it really is a family member, that could be a huge deal. If it\u2019s Charlie, there\u2019s no rehab to make amends.
