I get it,\u201d Haddish wrote in a statement\u00a0posted on her verified Instagram account\u00a0on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m right there with you,\u201d she continued. \u201cUnfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there\u2019s very little that I can say right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Haddish and Spears have been accused of having \u201cgroomed and molested\u201d two then-minor siblings,\u00a0according to a lawsuit\u00a0filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJane Doe\u201d and \u201cJohn Doe\u201d (their names are withheld to protect their privacy) were 14 and 7, respectively, when they allege that Haddish and Spears had them participate in sexually suggestive videos in separate incidents in 2013 and 2014, according to the complaint, a copy of which was obtained by CNN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe isn\u2019t going to fall for any shakedown,\u201d Debra Opri, an attorney for Spears, said in a statement to CNN.<\/p>\n<p>An attorney for Haddish told CNN that the plaintiff\u2019s mother \u201chas been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery attorney who has initially taken on her case \u2014 and there were several \u2014 ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down,\u201d the statement read, adding that the mother \u201chas her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJohn Doe\u201d alleges that in summer 2014, Haddish \u201coffered to book, arrange, and film Mr. Doe content for a Nickelodeon sizzle reel at the home of Spears. Haddish claimed the reel would be used to book Mr. Doe on Nickelodeon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUpon information and belief, Haddish and Spears removed the 7-year-old victim from his sister, placed him upstairs in a bedroom, and stripped the child down to his underwear,\u201d according to the suit. \u201cThe video was entitled \u2018Through A Pedophiles Eyes\u2019 and shows Spears lusting over the 7-year-old child\u201d and rubbing his back.<\/p>\n<p>Haddish played the boy\u2019s mother in the video, which has circulated on social media.<\/p>\n<p>In her statement Monday, Haddish wrote that \u201c\u2026while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn\u2019t funny at all \u2013 and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can,\u201d Haddish concluded her statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async defer src=\"https:\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/tiffany-haddish-speaks-out-on-child-sex-abuse-suit\/\">Source<\/a> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tiffany Haddish says she \u201cdeeply\u201d regrets performing in a skit years ago that led to her and fellow comedic actor Aries Spears\u00a0being accused of child sex abuse. \u201cI know people have a bunch of questions.
