The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has suspended Dare Kadiri, a sitting member of the state House of Assembly, amid claims of anti-party activity.<\/p>\n
The leadership of Ward II in Ijebu North Local Government Area suspended Kadiri, a former Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, indefinitely on Sunday after accusing him of working against the governor Dapo Abiodun\u2019s campaign for a second term in the general elections of 2023.<\/p>\n
The suspension was affirmed by the Ward Congress at a meeting held on Sunday. The letter was jointly signed by the General Secretary and the Councillor who represents the ward, Olanrewaju Abiodun and Sobonojo Adeniyi, respectively.<\/p>\n
The party leaders accused Kadiri of associating with the opposition and promising to work against Abiodun\u2019s reelection, among other things.<\/p>\n
