Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Enoch Asubonteng is looking forward to an explosive season which starts in the first week of September.<\/p>\n

The former West Africa Football Academy player joined the Phobians and has gone on to make decent impact in the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Champions preliminary stages.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with Ghanasoccernet, the young player said he is looking forward to a better outing next term.<\/p>\n

“Last season was more of a rollercoaster season for me and I must admit that things didn’t go the way I wanted it,” Asubonteng told GHANAsoccernet.com.<\/p>\n

“I know my abilities and capabilities so I will say I wasn’t satisfied with my performance for Hearts of Oak.<\/p>\n

“I think it’s because I didn’t have enough of pre-season training with the team when I joined. I couldn’t bond so well with my then new teammates.<\/p>\n

Asubonteng joined the 21 time Ghana Premier League champions in August last year from now relegated WAFA SC for an undisclosed amount.<\/p>\n

He made his first appearance in Hearts of Oak\u2019s shirt in the CAF Champions League preliminary round where the Phobians defeated Guinean club, Club Industriel de Kamsar at the Accra Sports Stadium.<\/p>\n
