Lawyer Edudzie Tamakloe, Lawyer Kpemka and Lawyer Dr Eric Oduro Osae.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/0746b8a378b64838a608bc8dd9cfdc01\"\/><\/p>\n<p>During the panel discussions, Lawyer Edudzie Tamakloe explained that the IAA Director may not require prosecutorial powers or the Act to be passed before going to the courts.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyer Tamakloe suggested that the Attorney General could help the IAA by releasing a &#8220;fiat&#8221; to enable IAA to exercise some powers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ac22c1583edd4016974b012e7c482494\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The IAA Director explained that there was a need to bridge the staffing needs to ease forensic audit assignments.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Oduro also stated that the fight against ghost names should be done by motivating the IAA staff.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; At IAA, we work directly with the working papers and we monitor the ghost names. It would help if the government would motivate the staff of the Internal Audit Agency.
