Dolly Parton is releasing wigs for dogs.<\/p>\n
The \u201c9 to 5\u201d hitmaker has teamed up with SportPet designs to create a pet apparel line called \u201cDoggy Parton\u201d. And as well as a \u201cblonde bombshell\u201d hairpiece, items in the range include a pink cowgirl hat with tiara, a gingham Western print two-piece collar and leash set, tour T-shirts, cowgirl dresses, bandanas and squeaky toys.<\/p>\n
A portion of the proceeds from the range will go to rescue organisation Willa B Farms.<\/p>\n
Parton said in a statement: \u201c\u2018Puppy Love\u201c was my very first record and, six decades later, my love for pets is stronger than ever. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis inspired me to start my own line of \u2018Doggy Parton\u2019 apparel, accessories, toys and more with a little \u2018Dolly\u2019 flair.<\/p>\n
\u201cPart of the proceeds will support Willa B Farms, a rescue where animals in need find never-ending love. Don\u2019t we all need that?\u201c<\/p>\n
She also took to Instagram to share the news.<\/p>\n

Last month, the 76-year-old county legend unveiled another non-musical venture; plans for a new roller-coaster at her Dollywood theme park.<\/p>\n
The Big Bear Mountain will open at the attraction \u2013 which opened in Tennessee in 1986 \u2013 in 2023 and will feature \u201cthree separate launches, multiple airtime hills, high-speed carousel turns, and tunnels, including a pass behind a waterfall\u201d.<\/p>\n
The \u201cJolene\u201d singer is excited that fans will be able to travel the Smoky Mountains themselves via the ride while referencing her 1994 song \u201cSmoky Mountain Memories\u201d.<\/p>\n
She tweeted: \u201cThe Smokies are all about adventure and going exploring. I\u2019m excited our guests will be able to head out on their own trip into the Smokies to see if they can find that Big Bear. Whether he\u2019s out there or not, I\u2019m sure they\u2019ll find a lot of memories along the way that they\u2019ll keep forever.\u201c<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Dollywood president Eugene Naughton explained that the ride was \u201cfamily-friendly\u201d and described it as being \u201ccomfortable fun\u201d.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cIf you\u2019re going to be the No. 1 family attraction in the United States, your product needs to be family-friendly. So, within this ride called Big Bear Mountain, I like to call it comfortable fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
