According to him, the sight of his father being scolded by his boss broke his heart.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was happy when he invited me to his workplace, and I thought he wore a suit for work and all. If you give me a restaurant job in Ghana, I won\u2019t do it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So I was sad when I saw him working in a restaurant in Germany. There were about four other Ghanaians in the restaurant, and seeing s his boss shouting at him made me cry out even more,\u201d he recounted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>James indicated that he moved from his father\u2019s house to work in an Auntie\u2019s shop for a while before settling for other jobs. He added that menial jobs among Ghanaians and Africans have become a norm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been here for four years, and it has become normal. But back then, it was tough,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to James, his parents offered to send him abroad because he was stubborn. He lived with his mom in Kumasi, where he grew up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were okay financially, but I was stubborn.
