The likes of Tinny, Sarkodie, Tee Phlow, Obrafour among others.<\/p>\n<p>Hammer dashed out of the music production seven years ago, left many staunch fans, associates and the masses wondering why he resorted to the sudden decision.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since pausing his music production career, Hammer got into other businesses including partnering with a baker, owner of A1 Bread Godfred Obeng Boateng to introduce one of Accra\u2019s popular bread brands and most recently A1 Bread.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_26136\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-26136\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-26136 jetpack-lazy-image\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"  data-lazy- src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/hammer-600x400-1.jpg\"\/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-26136\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/1661940491_588_hammer-600x400-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\"   data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/noscript><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-26136\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hammer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hammer after finding his new love for selling bread admitted some time ago that his decision to go into baking and selling of bread was in line with his quest to empower the youth.<\/p>\n<p>However, the seasoned record producer was hosted by Kafui Dey as a host in an interview on GTV Breakfast show where he disclosed part of why took the turn of his life.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, he felt like a prisoner because he was locked up in a room with no windows for over 15 years. He used to spend those days inside his studio, barely eaten and sometimes eaten late because he was engrossed in beat making and producing songs for artistes.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI was bored, I felt like a prisoner. For 15-plus years, I was locked up in a room with no window. The artistes come and go\u2026.these boys were out on stage jumping around, when they come back, you are still in that space,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the GTV Breakfast show with Kafui Dey the host, he added that <em>\u201cI sat down for eight hours playing, making beats, producing and it got boring at some point. So, I became like an uncaged dog when I got the chance to get out. That\u2019s why you see me on the street.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Hammer further revealed that he was not as fat as he is today, he gained weight as a result of the indoors lifestyle his career subjected him, he hardly get any form of exercise.\u201c<em>My name is \u2018Slim The Hammer\u2019 I wasn\u2019t fat, I was an athlete in Presec. So, this business of becoming big was the studio,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0He said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that he hasn\u2019t touched any sound engineering equipment in the past seven years. \u201c<em>I have a small set up at home that my children use, so after the playing around, I want to get the thing back to my fingers. I\u2019m gonna need some help though.
