It went as poorly as he had feared. Perhaps, even worse.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript\/><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456643 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_01.png\" loading=\"lazy\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>As Sumit and Jenny\u2019s Season 7 journey began, it was all fun and games.<\/p>\n<p>They went on a ridiculous roller skating outing. Production <em>often <\/em>asks couples to go places for conversations.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, viewers complain about seeing the same living room every week. Still, roller skating is a bit much.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_02-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456644\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456644 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_02.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Anyway, the couple had exciting news, in case anyone had forgotten: they were married.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d love to say that Sumit threw caution to the wind and couldn\u2019t wait another minute to be married to Jenny.<\/p>\n<p>That was sort of true \u2026 but her tourist visa extensions were running out. It was now or never. Sumit chose now.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_03-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456645\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456645 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_03.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Allegedly, the plan was that they would tell Sahna and Amit at the Tell All.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the wedding, Sahna had sounded almost open to the idea \u2014 at least, not planning to stop them.<\/p>\n<p>But at the Tell All, Sahna was once again adamant that they never marry. She didn\u2019t know that they were. And Sumit chickened out.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_04-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456646\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456646 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_04.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>On the premiere, however, he knew that they would find out sooner or later.<\/p>\n<p>What he said on-screen was that he feared that someone might tell them.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, what Sumit really meant was that the Tell All would air sooner or later (it aired in December 2021) and Sahna and Anil would find out then.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_05-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456647\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456647 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_05.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Just a couple of months into their marriage, Jenny was busy enjoying herself.<\/p>\n<p>She was understandably reluctant to have an inevitably hostile, miserable discussion.<\/p>\n<p>His family does not like her, purely because of her age. What hurts even more is that Sumit is still <em>obsessed <\/em>with their approval.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_06-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456648\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456648 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_06.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>It turned out that the decision was out of Jenny\u2019s hands.<\/p>\n<p>Sumit announced to her that he had already invited his family over to their former home (apparently, keeping their new digs a secret?) to tell them.<\/p>\n<p>We hope that Jenny knew, and that she merely acted surprised for the cameras. That\u2019s a hell of a thing to spring on your wife.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_07-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456650\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456650 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_07.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Sumit had a game plan for the night: let him do the talking.<\/p>\n<p>Part of this was a language barrier, of course.<\/p>\n<p>The other part was that, because his family despises Jenny, they would likely reject anything that he had to say.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_08-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456651\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456651 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_08.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>We can\u2019t entirely rule out that production fudged the timing of this scene (thus why it was at the old place), but it doesn\u2019t really matter.<\/p>\n<p>Sahna and Anil arrived, and so did Sumit\u2019s brother, Amit, and sister-in-law, Shree.<\/p>\n<p>The hostility began immediately, with Sahna ridiculing Jenny for feeling warm and answering a question, and Shree body-shaming her \u201cfat\u201d arms.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_10-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456652\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456652 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_10.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>While sharing very little of what his rude family had said about his wife, Sumit began.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded his parents that they had shown a relative open-mindedness towards the relationship.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, they had signaled that they would not actively fight it if the two tried to marry. But Sahna adamantly denied it.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/sahna-singh-i-can-change-for-my-son.png\" alt=\"Sahna Singh - I can change for my son\" class=\"wp-image-358578\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" alt=\"Sahna Singh - I can change for my son\" class=\"wp-image-358578 lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/sahna-singh-i-can-change-for-my-son.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>We all remember Sahna\u2019s meeting with the astrologer, and her talk with Jenny.<\/p>\n<p>She didn\u2019t give them their blessing, but she promised that she could grow and change for the sake of her son.<\/p>\n<p>On the premiere, Sahna acted as if she could not recall any of that. Even though it was all on camera.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_11-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456653\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456653 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_11.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Sumit could not hold back any longer.<\/p>\n<p>He told his mother that he and Jenny had married.<\/p>\n<p>It was a lovely ceremony, and most parents would have asked about it. Sahna is not most parents.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_12-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456654\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456654 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0829_jennyslatten_12.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Immediately furious, Sahna began to both cry and yell.<\/p>\n<p>She admonished Sumit to not \u201cever show me your face\u201d again.<\/p>\n<p>If he arrived at her home, she promised, she would insult him and kick him out.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0830_sahnasingh_01-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456790\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456790 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0830_sahnasingh_01.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Even Anil\u2019s efforts to calm her did not work.<\/p>\n<p>He implored her to speak in a peaceful manner to Sumit, their son.<\/p>\n<p>She wouldn\u2019t hear it. Sahna acted as if Sumit, a grown man in his thirties, had somehow wronged her by getting married.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/gp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0830_sahnasingh_02-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456791\"\/><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456791 lazyload\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0830_sahnasingh_02.png\" data-trellis-processed=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>It is a truly miserable sight to behold.<\/p>\n<p>Sahna was loudly disowning her own son for choosing happiness and making his own choices in life.<\/p>\n<p>The clip is intense, but worth watching.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.thehollywoodgossip.com\/uploads\/2022\/08\/0830-Jenny-Slatten-and-Sumit-Singh-COMPRESS.mp4\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Sahna can choose to be a miserable, hateful person all that she likes.<\/p>\n<p>But now she, and only she, is forcing Sumit to choose: his wife and his happiness, or appeasing his mom.<\/p>\n<p>We wish Jenny and Sumit the best as they pick up the pieces.
