Benito Owusu Bio and John Allotey respectively, have visited the Zoo to ensure all facilities remain secure,\u201d the statement insisted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-myjoyonline-com wp-block-embed-myjoyonline-com\"\/>\n<p>This follows the killing of a middle-aged man by a lion at the Zoo on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Commission confirmed the statement adding that he [the victim] was attacked and injured \u2018within the inner fencing of the enclosure\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>In what is suspected to be an attempt to steal a cub, the intruder, who is yet to be identified, was pounced upon by the lions and was subsequently devoured.<\/p>\n<p>                <!-- Post Tags --><\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Forestry Commission has rejected claims\u00a0that one of the lions at the Accra Zoo has escaped.
