Sylvester Stallone\u00a0and\u00a0Jennifer Flavin\u00a0are divorcing after 25 years of marriage.<\/p>\n
Flavin filed a petition \u201cfor dissolution of marriage and other relief\u201d from the\u00a0Rocky<\/em>\u00a0actor, 76, on Friday at a court in Palm Beach County, Florida.<\/p>\n Stallone and Flavin, 54, married in 1997, though their\u00a0relationship originally began\u00a0in 1988 at a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.<\/p>\n They\u00a0share three daughters:\u00a0Scarlet, 20,\u00a0Sistine, 24, and\u00a0Sophia, 25. Stallone is also a father to son Seargeoh from his previous marriage to Sasha Czack. His oldest son\u00a0Sage, whom he shares with Czack,\u00a0died in 2012.<\/p>\n In a statement to PEOPLE, Stallone said, \u201cI love my family. We are\u00a0amicably and privately addressing\u00a0these personal issues.\u201d<\/p>\n Flavin told PEOPLE, \u201cI\u2019m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone. While we will\u00a0no longer be married, I will always cherish\u00a0the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters.
