The Senior Pastor of the Seventh Day Pentecostal Assemblies at Esreso in the Ashanti Region, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr. has stressed the need for both the President Nana Akuffo Addo and his Vice Alhaji Dr Bawumia to stay focused and come out with alternative measures that could help stabilize the cedi to enhance effective business transactions in the society.<\/p>\n

Speaking to a section of journalists in reaction to the fall of the cedi and the work performance of Ministers of state, Elder Ofori said government needs to pay attention to the two factors to enhance smooth administration of the country.<\/p>\n
He said the deflation of the cedi is having a negative impact on the country to such an extent that many businesses are on the verge of collapse.<\/p>\n
The issue, the clergy said is also affecting international trade as entrepreneurs cannot face the trend when they make comparison with the two currencies and how they can survive with the current rate of dollar as against the cedi.<\/p>\n
Therefore as leaders of the country hence the man of God’s humble appeal to the authorities to adopt measures to address the situation.<\/p>\n
Touching particularly on Dr Bawumia, Elder Ofori alleged that as an expert in economics Ghanaians are expecting him to deal with the dollar problems to help businesses to boom so that the economy would be revived.<\/p>\n
I think the Vice President will focus on stabilising the cedi per Ghanaians\u00a0interest in getting their daily bread, the man of God indicated<\/p>\n
He stated that though the digitisation agenda is one of the best policies to develop the country, it is a long term process therefore the VEEP and President must first solve the cedi challallenge before giving much attention to the digitization issues, Elder Ofori opined.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Touching on the ministerial appointments Elder Ofori passionately\u00a0\u00a0appealed to H. E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo to reshuffle his Ministers.<\/p>\n
Some of his reasons are that some of the appointees allegedly feel complacent and fail to work hard to give credit to the government.<\/p>\n
\u200cThe reshuffle\u00a0he said can allegedly instil discipline and fear into the Ministers to work hard to help build the country.<\/p>\n

\u200cThe man of God was of the view that if his message is taken into consideration and enforced it, it will go a long way to help government to deliver.<\/p>\n
