Many people define politics in various ways according to their own perspectives. According\u00a0to\u00a0Abraham Lincoln who is regarded as the father of democracy, politics is a way of life. He associated politics to democracy which he defined as government for the people, of the people and by the people. But how well do you know politicians? The minister for information is Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, MP for Ofoase Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern region. The man is regarded as one of the finest politicians Ghana has had. His approach to questions alone puts him ahead of of other politicians. Anytime a question is posed to the former journalist, he rephrased it to suit himself before answering. People thought this was a way of running away from critical questions but hey, that is wrong. The NPP MP has thrown more light on this and revealed more facts about politics.<\/p>\n

In a video intercepted by CitizenOne, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that in politics, one must know the following;<\/p>\n

1. Nobody has your interest.<\/p>\n

2. Everybody is chasing his or her interest.<\/p>\n

3. Dealing with politicians is like sleeping with tigers; you must always have your eyes wide open.<\/p>\n

4. In any political equation, there is always someone being used. If you look around and you can’t find that person, then it is you.<\/p>\n

5. Serving politicians is like a bandage on a wound. Once the wound heals your usefulness ends.<\/p>\n

6. In politics, never wail more than the bereaved. They will get their reward and you will inherit their enemies.<\/p>\n

7. In politics in any event, if other interests conflict with yours and you have to choose, always choose yours.<\/p>\n

8. Never cross oceans for politicians you may drown.<\/p>\n
