{"id":1186921,"date":"2022-08-22T17:10:54","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T17:10:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/08\/22\/claims-we-brought-spiritualists-to-ipac-meeting-false\/"},"modified":"2022-08-22T17:10:54","modified_gmt":"2022-08-22T17:10:54","slug":"claims-we-brought-spiritualists-to-ipac-meeting-false","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/08\/22\/claims-we-brought-spiritualists-to-ipac-meeting-false\/","title":{"rendered":"Claims we brought spiritualists to IPAC meeting false"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Electoral Commission (EC) has denied inviting spiritualists to Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meetings to cast out supposed demons.<\/p>\n<p>According to the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the EC boss, Jean Mensa, during a meeting with some political parties, engaged in some mysterious acts  spiritual prayers to tame suspected demons at the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>A statement issued by the Electoral Commission described the allegations as false.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe attention of the Electoral Commission has been drawn to a statement made by Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary of the NDC, to the effect that the Chairperson of the Commission, Mrs. Jean Mensa, brought spiritualists to an IPAC meeting to cast out demons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the information of the General Public, this is untrue. It never occurred. IPAC meetings are meant to discuss issues relating to Ghana\u2019s Electoral System. This is exactly what occurs there.
