Ras Kuuku claims that the Narcotics Control Commission of Ghana\u2019s practice of setting fire to massive marijuana crops is retrograde.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Ghanaian musician was recently interviewed by Amansan Krakye of Kastle FM in Cape Coast, who asked him about the ongoing destruction of massive \u2018ganja\u2019 plantations around the country.<\/p>\n

His response was, \u201cWe are more than backward if there is a word beyond backwards that\u2019s where we find ourselves as a country because in these modern times where countries are legalizing marijuana we\u2019re here burning big ganja crops.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven if we package our marijuana and export it the proceeds can be used to do a lot of roads in Ghana and we\u2019ve been saying this for a long time but one day I know they will say that we are right from the unset,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n

He justified \u201cWe are crying of poverty because we need money to fix this country but we wake up every day to news of huge marijuana farms being set ablaze to just waste away whilst it can fetch us money.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t get anything from gold, diamond too nothing, manganese gave us nothing, bauxite too the same, timber and rubber brought us nothing so the only thing we can make money from is marijuana,\u201d he ended on Kastle Drive Show.<\/p>\n
