NPP has been in power for almost 8 years now, but they are not ready to surrender the Presidency to any political party in Ghana, despite the current economic hardships.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest opposition political party and critic of the NPP, NDC is preparing their grounds firmly to take over power from their greatest opponent, come 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/169d6b332cd34f7f9b32c1900b16fe92\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Following this, the NDC apparently has been basing on the current economic hardships in the country, as the weakness of NPP to win power come election 2024, but NPP need to embark on these two things else, they won\u2019t be able to break the 8.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reduce Fuel Prices<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> NPP want to break the 8 as it has been their slogan for sometime now, the Akufo-Addo led administration should subsidize to reduce fuel prices to the satisfaction of Ghanaians.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/7ff2673500eb46eb9511b9d4f6120257\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Apparently fuel prices has been a major determinant of prices of goods and services in the country, hence an increase in fuel prices tends to increase prices of goods and services. The average Ghanaian can at least use little available resources efficiently if fuel prices are reduced.<\/p>\n<p>Most Ghanaians are complaining so much about high fuel prices in the country and if nothing is done to that effect, it will affect NPP\u2019s quest to break the 8.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elect An Appropriate leader<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Election 2024 is viewed to be one of the toughest election ever in the political history of Ghana. The New Patriotic Party is geared towards breaking the 8 and the National Democratic Congress, NDC is also on a rescue mission for Ghana as they claim the Ghana\u2019s economic system has been weakened by the NPP.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/501767ac40024b14b9d5fe5c1ce35f7c\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In this vein, if the NPP fail to elect an appropriate leader to lead the party to victory, the party cannot break the 8.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy Ohene Agyapong can be a great leader, Alan Kyerematen and Mahamudu Bawumia can also be great leaders for the party, but the NPP need to scrutinize these gurus well in order to break the 8.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think about this?
