One of Ghana\u2019s top gospel artists,\u00a0 Celestine Donkor, has shared a devastating experience while growing up.<\/strong><\/p>\n Sharing her story in an interview with Rainbow Fm, she used her story to encourage others to steadfast onto God so their story can change.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0According to Celestine Donkor, she was forced to eat baby feces before being given a full course meal to eat by someone she worked for.<\/span><\/p>\n She made this known saying she was the seventh child in a family of fifteen, where resources were stretched thin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This meant she had to serve in different households as a help to sustain herself.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI was serving people as a house help. So that was how I grew up. Living with different kinds of people formed a very important part of my life because I experienced different things at different levels.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSome of the people I stayed with were very good to me. They took me in as their own daughter. There was no feeling like an outcast. And there were others who made me feel rejected and less human,\u201d she stated.<\/span><\/p>\n Celestine Donkor again shared another ordeal she went through in one of the households she worked.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI lived with a woman in a compound house, helping her with chores. She already had a maid, so I was the assisting maid,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n One day after doing all the maid\u2019s chores, she refused to give me food to eat. When our madam\u2019s baby pooped in its diaper, she took off the soiled diaper and said I should eat the feces before she gives me food.
