Residents of Moree in the Central Region joyfully shouted on the streets. This is after 20 years without the celebration of their Abangye festival. <\/p>\n

” We’ve finally received the ark of covenant and we’re sending it straight to Israel. The world should join us celebrate” The Residents danced and shouted. <\/p>\n

What majority of people couldn’t understand was why the people were dressed like Israelites. They were seen wearing yellow cassock with red patches.<\/p>\n

Perhaps they have the foundation of the festival to be emanating from Israel. In all, it was a very colorful ceremony. <\/p>\n

What was unclear was why the festival wasn’t celebrated for the past 20 years. Perhaps, the traditional authorities will be the best people to explain. <\/p>\n
