Reduce the size of government and stop borrowing to feed students and teacher trainees who are not poor, scrap the obnoxious ex-gratia, and as a matter of urgency stop securitizing revenue streams.<\/p>\n

Revise the tax exemptions regime by passing and implementing the Exemptions Bill, and review mining sector taxes to increase domestic revenue.<\/p>\n

Reduce the e-levy rate to increase subscription, stop the abuse of restricted tender and single source as a norm in public procurement, and stop using the little taxes to build flamboyant religious edifices.<\/p>\n

It is widely acknowledged that every government has an interest, which is procurement, but the balance with the nation\u2019s interest is critical.\u00a0<\/p>\n
