Real Madrid\u00a0manager Carlo Ancelotti said he has no doubts that\u00a0Karim Benzema\u00a0deserves to win the Ballon d\u2019Or, calling the\u00a0France\u00a0forward \u201cthe most efficient player in the world\u201d after scoring in his team\u2019s\u00a02-0\u00a0UEFA Super Cup win over\u00a0Eintracht Frankfurt.<\/p>\n
Captain Benzema scored Madrid\u2019s second goal in the 65th minute \u2014 after\u00a0David Alaba\u00a0had put them ahead with a first-half header \u2014 to claim the first trophy of the season in Helsinki on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>It was Benzema\u2019s 324th goal for Real Madrid, taking him above club legend Raul Gonzalez into second place in their list of all-time goal scorers, behind only\u00a0Cristiano Ronaldo\u2018s 451.<\/p>\n \u201c[Benzema] is a leader,\u201d Ancelotti told Movistar. \u201cIf we\u2019re here, it\u2019s partly because of him.
