\nThe Grand Khalifa of the Tijaniya Muslim\u00a0<\/strong>Sufi Order, Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim Anyass has visited Prang, the headquarters of Tijaniya in Ghana, in the Bono East Region to pay homage to the Household of\u00a0 Sheikh Abdulai Ahmed Maikano, leader of the Tijaniya Muslim group in Ghana.<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Purpose of the Grand Khalifa\u2019s visit was to further consolidate the long-standing relationship between his family and that of Sheikh\u00a0 Abdulai Ahmad Maikano.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nSheikh Ahmad Maikano is a great disciple of\u00a0 Shehu Ibrahim, father of the Grand Khalifa, Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim Anyass. Sheikh\u00a0 Ahmad Maikano also doubles as the teacher and\u00a0 father In- law to the Grand Khalifa.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Grand Khalifa, who is in Ghana at the behest of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu , arrived in Prang in the afternoon of Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in the Ghana Armed Forces Aircraft.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nAs part of the visit, the Grand Khalifa inspected progress of work on the proposed land for construction of the Sheikh Abdulai Ahmed Maikano Educational Complex in the area.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nEarlier this week, the Tijaniya Muslim Council launched a fundraising mission to raise money for construction of the Sheikh Abdulai Ahmed Maikano Educational Complex\u00a0<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nLed by its Supreme Leader and President ,Sheikh Abul-Faid Ahmed Maikano Jollo, the council is hoping to leverage on the benevolence of well-to-do Muslims, individuals and organisations interested in the progress of the marginalised Muslim communities, particularly in the area of education, to complete the proect.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
