{"id":1174290,"date":"2022-08-11T13:15:11","date_gmt":"2022-08-11T13:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/08\/11\/abronye-defends-council-of-state-member-fingered-in-alleged-corruption\/"},"modified":"2022-08-11T13:15:11","modified_gmt":"2022-08-11T13:15:11","slug":"abronye-defends-council-of-state-member-fingered-in-alleged-corruption","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/08\/11\/abronye-defends-council-of-state-member-fingered-in-alleged-corruption\/","title":{"rendered":"Abronye defends Council of State member fingered in alleged corruption"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\">\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"494\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/83495991.295-Copy-696x494.jpg\"   alt=\"SP and Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh\" title=\"SP and Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">SP and Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC has expressed shock at the special prosecutor\u2019s office report implicating Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Asomah-Hinneh is the owner of Labianca Company Limited and a Council of State member indicted by the SP over influence peddling.<\/p>\n<p>According to Abronye, someone may have failed to do due diligence as Mrs Asomah-Hinneh may not be the one culpable.<\/p>\n<p>He has therefore called on the office to rather surcharge the person in charge of the assessment instead of Madam Jacqueline who, according to him, has little knowledge of such issues.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think someone didn\u2019t do their job well. If we don\u2019t have evidence in the report that the woman used her position to influence the goods then where from the undue influence?
